..2004 RALLY..

September 3rd/ 4th / 5th

13th Miles From Nowhere Rally
Held at Ridley Wood Farm, Ridley Wood, Nr. Wrexham.

What a wild weekend, this is the best way to start it off...wild and busy for the whole club!
This was the 13th year that the Rally was put on and we did not know how many numbers we would actually get, we had only sold about 150 tickets although we had been advertising the event all summer we needed 500+ at least, oh shit its the 13th year and this is where it all goes wrong, bad luck time ahead, spare undies at hand!
Guess what...I was wrong as usual and loads of bikers turned up 750+, panic stations over and we had to start worrying weather we had enough space for everyone, the site is quite large but  we had cars on site which took up valuable space.
Our aim is to let everyone have a good time, we have cheap beer, draught and canned, plus we did all the shorts as usual and boy oh boy did they drink a lot, food was available on site with a local country  pub within walking distance where you can get a posh meal, we could of picked a site away from a pub as this would increase our sales but a good time for the visitors is our aim...because that's what we would expect if we we visited your rally!

THE BAND'S
Photo's

We had 9 bands on over the weekend with the band Dusk till Dawn supporting Second Bite from Liverpool on Friday night and Wrexham bands Nod Corner supporting the Swillers on Saturday night, music was performed from the likes of the Levelers to Iron Maiden to the Manic Street Preachers right over to all the usual AC/DC covers, a right rocking weekend with a large variation of music which is how we all like it!
All the music over the weekend went down a storm and now we are searching for more bands for our next major rally in September 2005!
Check out the above Bands.

 THE BIKERS:

We call them BIKERS but drunks is nearer the truth!

Everyone behaved themselves over the weekend, everyone got involved in having a good laugh, weather its was sitting around the massive bonfire into the early hours of the morning or being adventurous and getting involved in the silly games throughout Saturday afternoon where over 100 people got of their backsides and became silly for once!
Their was only a 10 minute walk to the local pub from the site entrance where first class food was served, the sun shined all weekend so some bikers just strolled back and to from the pub to the site!

THE WORKERS:

The WORKERS consist of members and friends who have helped to keep this event going for so many years and the general public has no idea of how much work is put into the event, no one gets paid for it, we all just do it for the crack and there is also the fact that if we don't put a Rally on....who else will around this neck of the woods,...party on!
